The Perceval company operating the ‘Express-Online’ service implemented on the https://app.express-online.com website undertakes to ensure that the collection and processing of personal data collected complies with the provisions of the RGPD and the ‘Informatique et libertés’ law of 6 January 1978 amended by law no. 2018-493 of 20 June 2018. Each form limits the collection of personal data to what is strictly necessary and specifies whether this data is compulsory or optional.

General confidentiality rules for data collected

The personal data collected on the https://app.express-online.com site is intended for use by PERCEVAL, which operates the Express-Online site, or for use by express freight forwarders and express carriers registered on the Express-Online platform. This personal data is provided strictly for the purposes of establishing contact between express shippers and express carriers and may under no circumstances be transferred or used on behalf of third parties for commercial prospecting purposes.

Personal data collected as part of the services offered on app.express-online.com are transmitted and stored using secure protocols; they are not stored for any longer than is necessary to manage the services offered by the app.express-online.com website.

In accordance with the provisions of articles 38 et seq. of the French Data Protection Act 78-17 of 6 January 1978, users have the right to access, rectify and object to any personal data concerning them.

Personal data on charterers, carriers and drivers

Registration module

The ‘mandatory’ personal data collected from ‘shippers’ and ‘carriers’ as part of the ‘Express-Online’ registration module is collected insofar as it is necessary for the management of their ‘shipper’ or ‘carrier’ account. This data is as follows :

Charterers

• The identity, geographical location and means of contacting the company
• The professional qualifications held by the company
• The company’s legal and professional documentation

Carriers

• The identity, geographical location, and contact details of the transport company
• The professional qualifications held by the transport company
• The registration number(s) of the vehicle(s) operated by the transport company
• The make, model, and date of first registration of the vehicle(s) operated by the carrier
• The specifications of the utility vehicle(s) operated by the transport company
• The reference per-kilometre rate by vehicle for long-distance transport
• The legal and professional documentation of the transport company
• The contact details of the vehicle drivers: Driver ID (first name or nickname), phone number, and email

Vehicle drivers

• Carriers agree to inform their drivers of the data confidentiality rules regarding information collected about them and to remove any personal data related to one of their drivers from the Express-Online platform in the event of termination of the contractual relationship with that driver (via the MY DRIVERS tab: https://app.express-online.com/profile/drivers/)

These data are retained for the duration of the professional relationship and are then deleted or anonymized if used solely for statistical purposes.

Purposes

The purposes of the processing for which the data are intended are as follows:

• To manage and organize the relationship between express freight forwarders and affiliated express carriers, through phone calls, emails, or text messages.

Retention period and confidentiality rules

These data are retained for the entire duration of the professional relationship, then deleted or anonymized if used solely for statistical purposes. Under no circumstances are they shared outside the company for commercial purposes.

Data collected via the Express-Online mobile application (Android and iOS)

Mobile application

The data collected by the Express-Online mobile application concern the terminal’s geolocation data :

• Geolocation data consist of the following information: latitude, longitude, date, time, and vehicle. They are transmitted to our servers every 30 minutes only during office hours: from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Friday excluding public holidays, and only when the vehicle is moving. Their accuracy is approximately one kilometer.
