Who is the “Express-Online” service for?

The “Express-Online” service is intended for organizers of national and European express road transport (Charterers) who
wish to benefit from the innovative Express-Online search system that allows them to be directly connected with the “
best-positioned available express carrier” for each of their requests. This saves them search time and reduces
their subcontracting costs for urgent and customized “parcel-taxi” transport.

Why does Express-Online stand out?

As a forecasting and anticipation tool, Express-Online relies on geolocation and takes into account the real-time progress of vehicles in both time and space to identify return trips that partially or fully match vehicle searches in France and Europe. Express-Online primarily targets matches between vehicle searches and “return” trips.

Does Express-Online intervene in the transaction?

No, Express-Online does not intervene in the transaction. Reloading rates are negotiated directly between shippers and carriers based on the indicative standard prices proposed by the platform. The co-contractors are free to deviate from these standard prices within a limit of approximately 20%.

Who sets the prices?

The estimated price is set by our algorithms. It takes into account the carrier’s geographical location, the detour they will need to make to complete the job, industry practices, vehicle characteristics, and the base per-kilometer rate charged by the carrier for that vehicle… The final price is generally the same or very close to the estimated price and results from rapid exchanges via email and notifications between our platform, the charterers, and the carriers. This operating method ensures the platform is used in accordance with its purpose, by both charterers and carriers.

What area does Express-Online cover?

Express-Online covers the entire French and European territories.

Are the collected data shared with other companies?

Under no circumstances: the data collected on www.express-online.com are made available to subscribers as part of the operation of the Express-Online platform and may in no case be used for any purpose other than the objective of this site: facilitating connections between express transport professionals. They may under no circumstances be transferred or used on behalf of third parties for commercial prospecting purposes.

How can I register?

To register, simply access the registration process and follow the instructions. At the end of the registration, you will need to upload your certificate of registration in the transport commission register (CIRCT), a K-bis extract less than 6 months old, and any professional activity document that may be requested.

When will my registration be effective?

Your registration will be effective once the documents you submitted have been verified and validated by our team.

What are my obligations towards Express-Online carriers?

The ‘charterer’ member agrees to immediately confirm the mission agreed with the express carrier whose profile was provided by Express-Online, and to remain reachable at all times during the mission. They also agree to pay carriers within 30 days, in accordance with Article L. 441-11 Paragraph 5 of the French Commercial Code as amended by Ordinance No. 2019-359 of April 24, 2019. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from the Express-Online loading platform, in accordance with Article 14 of its general terms of use, without prejudice to any legal action that may be brought by carriers awaiting payment.

What is the purpose of Express-Online for charterers?

Express-Online is a matchmaking tool between carriers and charterers based on matches identified between vehicle routes and freight routes. In the case of partial or full route matches, Express-Online allows charterers and shippers to pay only for the vehicle’s return trip, while enabling carriers to optimize their return journey. It’s a win-win model.

What is the cost of Express-Online for express charterers?

Using the ‘Express-Online’ matchmaking service involves payment of a matchmaking commission by the express charterer, the amount of which is calculated based on the potential value of the match.

How can I find express carriers on the Express-Online platform?

You simply need to perform ‘vehicle searches’ using the web access provided once your registration is validated and the partnership agreement is signed between your company and Perceval-Express. Each vehicle search will match you with the best-placed available carrier (after paying the matchmaking fee). You will then coordinate the operational details (addresses, contacts, etc.) directly with the carrier and make payment under the agreed conditions and within the legal deadline.

How quickly must I pay the co-contracted carriers offered by Express-Online?

Every charterer is legally required to pay transport invoices within 30 days, in accordance with Article L. 441-11 Paragraph 5 of the French Commercial Code as amended by Ordinance No. 2019-359 of April 24, 2019. Failure to comply with this legal requirement may result in exclusion from the Express-Online platform, without prejudice to any debt recovery action initiated by your co-contractors.

Do Express-Online charterers need to download the Express-Online mobile app?

No, Express-Online charterers work exclusively from their desktop computers.

Is the confidentiality of my clients guaranteed?

Yes, it is guaranteed because you will not share pickup or delivery addresses, nor your clients’ names or addresses on the Express-Online platform. You will only indicate the pickup and delivery cities. Full addresses will be shared directly with your co-contractors using your own communication tools (emails, business software, phone, etc.).

Does the Express-Online platform calculate drivers’ legal break times?

No, the responsibility for driver safety and rest times lies with the carriers and, if applicable, the shippers—not the Express-Online platform. Express-Online includes theoretical ‘standard’ breaks in the route to best anticipate future vehicle positions but does not have the information needed to tailor break times to each driver or vehicle’s individual situation.

Can I choose a specific carrier?

No, but we always propose the best-placed vehicle whose availability has been verified. The selection also considers the carrier’s evaluation.

Can I register my own carriers on the Express-Online platform?

Not directly, but your own carriers can register on the Express-Online platform. You can then prioritize them in your search results using the ‘Evaluation’ feature available in your charterer account area.

Note: to log in to the mobile app, you must first be registered as an Express-Online ‘carrier’.

How do I register as a ‘carrier’ on the Express-Online platform?

It’s very simple – just go to the registration process here (Link to the registration area) and follow the instructions. How can I access my ‘carrier’ space?

How do I log into the Express-Online mobile app I downloaded?

When will my registration be effective?

Your registration will be effective once the documents you submitted have been verified and validated by our team. This verification takes 24 to 48 hours.

What are my obligations to my client?

The ‘carrier’ member agrees to be reachable at all times during the mission and to carry it out under the best conditions of safety and quality. They also agree to inform their client in case of any issue or delay exceeding 30 minutes compared to the agreed commitments.

What should I do if I have a problem during a delivery?

If there’s a problem before, during, or after the transport, you must contact the operations department of your co-contracting express charterer to find a quick and appropriate solution. The contact info will be in the mission confirmation you receive.

Do I need to take any special steps to be offered deliveries?

To be offered deliveries, you need to register your company and vehicles on the Express-Online platform. Once registered, you’ll need to download the mobile app from your ‘carrier’ area, the Apple Store, or Google Play. You’ll then receive pricing offers and availability requests via the app.

How many vehicles can I register?

Each carrier can register between 1 and 5 vehicles.

I specialize in ADR/COLD/OTHER. Can I register?

Yes, absolutely. If you have a safety advisor for ADR transport, you’ll need to upload a copy of their certificate at the end of the registration. If the advisor is external to your company, also provide a letter confirming they accept the role. You must also enter your ‘ADR’ rate for registering vehicles. Likewise, if you have refrigerated vehicles, enter your ‘fridge’ rate instead of ‘general goods’. How am I paid after a delivery?

Every charterer is legally required to pay transport invoices within 30 days, in accordance with Article L. 441-11 Paragraph 5 of the Commercial Code amended by Ordinance No. 2019-359 of April 24, 2019. The carrier can hold the charterer liable in case of payment delays.

Do I have a payment guarantee with the Express-Online platform?

The Express-Online service is a matchmaking platform between express charterers and carriers. It does not take part in forming or executing transport contracts and does not offer any guarantee of payment. However, if a ‘partner’ charterer fails to meet obligations, they will be removed from the platform.

Do Express-Online carriers have to download the mobile app?

Yes, because it allows them to be geolocated and respond to availability requests.

How do my drivers download the mobile app?

Once your registration has been validated, your pre-registered drivers will receive instructions to download the mobile app on their smartphones and activate their accounts. They can then be geolocated during the week (with their consent), and you’ll receive delivery offers linked to their vehicle movements.

Will my drivers know the prices offered by charterers?

No, that information is reserved for the carrier account ‘administrator’.

Can my drivers respond directly to job offers assigned to their vehicle?

No, only the ‘administrator’ carrier can respond to notifications (alerts).

How can I download the mobile app?

You can download the EOL app from your ‘carrier’ area or directly from the Apple Store or Google Play Store. Once your carrier account is validated, you can log in directly to the app.

What happens once my ‘carrier’ registration is validated?
