The “Express-Online” service is aimed at organisers of national and European express road transport operations using light commercial vehicles (LCVs), seeking to improve both the quality and profitability of their responses to customer requests.
To register, simply access the registration process and follow the instructions. At the end of the process, you must upload your certificate of registration with the transport commission register (CIRCT), a K-bis extract dated within the last 6 months, and any other supporting documents that may be requested.
The “Express-Online” platform is available in Beta version for the company Perceval-Express and express carriers, and will be open to express shippers during the first quarter of 2023.
Your registration becomes effective once the documents you submitted have been reviewed and validated by our team, and the partnership protocol between your company and the Express-Online platform has been approved.
Express-Online is a forecasting and anticipation tool that relies on geolocation and considers vehicle movement over time and space to identify return trips partially or fully matching vehicle searches in France and Europe. It prioritises return trip matches and initiates mobile app exchanges between express carriers and shippers to facilitate return vehicle reloading with urgent freight offers.
It is an agreement that specifies the technical and commercial terms of the relationship between your company and Perceval-Express. It outlines the functionalities you are entitled to, the interface screens you can access, and the payment terms of your ‘express transport operator’ fee.
As a ‘shipper’ member, you agree to be reachable at all times during a mission and to pay transport invoices within 30 days, in accordance with Article L. 441-11 Paragraph 5 of the Commercial Code as amended by Ordinance No. 2019-359 of 24 April 2019. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from the Express-Online reloading platform in accordance with Article 14 of the General Terms of Use.
Express-Online is a matchmaking tool between carriers and shippers based on identified matches between vehicle routes and freight routes. In the case of partial or full route matches, Express-Online allows shippers to pay only for the vehicle’s return trip, while carriers can optimise their return journey. It’s a win-win model.
Simply perform ‘vehicle searches’ via the web access provided to you once your registration is validated and the partnership agreement signed with Perceval-Express. Each search will suggest a shortlist of the most suitable vehicles from which you can contact the pre-selected carrier(s).
Using the ‘Express-Online’ matchmaking service involves a fee for express shippers, calculated based on the potential benefit of the match.
No, Express-Online does not intervene in the transaction. Reloading rates are negotiated directly between principals and carriers, based on indicative standard prices proposed by the platform. Co-contractors may deviate from these prices within a range of around 20%.
You set prices directly with your co-contractors using the platform’s indicative ‘standard’ prices. Prices are freely negotiated between ‘express shippers’ and ‘express carriers’, as long as they remain close to the recommended rates for dedicated urgent transport. The 20% price range helps ensure the platform is used as intended.
Every shipper is legally required to pay transport invoices within 30 days, in accordance with Article L. 441-11 Paragraph 5 of the Commercial Code as amended by Ordinance No. 2019-359 of 24 April 2019. Failure to comply exposes you to exclusion from the Express-Online platform, without prejudice to any collection action that may be initiated by your co-contractors.
No, Express-Online shippers work exclusively from their desktop workstation.
Express-Online covers the entire French and European territory.
Yes, confidentiality is guaranteed as you will not share pickup or delivery addresses, or client names and addresses on the Express-Online platform. You will only indicate the cities of pickup and delivery. Full addresses will be communicated directly to co-contractors via your own tools (emails, business software, phone, etc.).
Under no circumstances: data collected on the www.express-online.com site is made available to subscribers as part of its operation and may not be used for purposes other than the site’s objective: facilitating connections between express transport professionals. Data will not be sold or used on behalf of third parties for commercial prospecting.
No, responsibility for driver safety and rest times lies with carriers and, where applicable, principals—not with the Express-Online platform. The platform incorporates theoretical ‘standard’ breaks to better anticipate vehicle positions but does not have access to data that would allow it to tailor breaks to each individual driver or vehicle.
Of course, as long as the carrier has been pre-selected as part of one of your searches.
Not directly, but your own carriers can register on the Express-Online platform, and you can prioritise their appearance in your search results using the ‘Evaluation’ feature.
